I had sent Neil an electronic backing track to improvise on, with the idea to keep my part intact as the 'spine' of this long-form piece. But once I received his recording, things turned out differently. While playing around with his saxophone improvisation, I noticed it was full of fantastic details, full of life. I wanted to emphasize this and began to create loops from different fragments of the saxophone recording. Once I started to combine these loops, piling up layers, it seemed to create an entire world - an eerie but beautiful world.

I go to sleep listening to this song, and I wake up in a beautiful dream state in the morning. It also helps me focus while I write and work. I was heartbroken when this song disappeared on Spotify, so the hunt began. I must say, this song was very difficult to find, but all the more rewarding when I found it. Jonathan Tilley
